DESCRIPTION:<a href="https://unsolicited-artists.odoo.com/event/fusion-work
 shop-day-social-112">Fusion workshop day &amp\; social</a>\nInto the Body
invites Anaïs and Alexi to teach a fusion workshop in Brussels! 4 hours o
f classes and 3 hours of social dancing. All of this will take place at th
e Cellule 133. What is Fusion? Fusion is an improvised partner dance\, whe
re both the leader and the follower contribute their ideas to create a dan
ce that is unique and imaginative. It can also be danced in a ‘switch’
style\, where the roles of leader and follower change fluidly throughout
the dance. Fusion draws concepts\, figures\, and rhythms from other partne
r dances such as tango\, blues\, forró and Latin dances. Fusion can be da
nced to various types of music\, including electronic music\, soft melodie
s blending piano and vocals\, or modern covers of well-known songs. Almost
anything goes! Fusion events often bring together dancers with different
backgrounds\, allowing for improvised rules during the dance. Concurrently
\, fusion is developing its own movements and aesthetics\, evolving dynami
cally. Here is an example of fusion dancing with Kelly Howard & Mark Carpen
